How to Care for Clear Aligners

 

Please be sure to wear your SureSmile clear aligners at least 20 to 22 hours per day. Otherwise, your teeth won’t move according to what your original treatment plan estimated. Only remove your aligners to brush, floss, eat, and drink anything but water.

 

To clean your aligners, brush them with a soft-bristled toothbrush, cool or lukewarm water, and a small drop of clear gentle soap. We also recommend brushing after snacks and meals to avoid staining your clear aligners or trapping food particles against your teeth.
