This protocol was developed to minimize your exposure to potentially harmful mercury vapors that may be released during the removal of amalgam fillings. Amalgam fillings, commonly known as silver fillings, consist of approximately 50% mercury along with other metals.
Why SMART?
Amalgam fillings (silver fillings) can pose significant health risks if not removed with the utmost care. During the removal process, if these fillings are drilled out without the implementation of proper safety measures, there is a risk of releasing mercury vapor.
